Lily Allen - Fan Art (Canvas 4ft x 3ft 2inch)

Finally, managed to grab a few moments to post this pic of the Lily Allen painting.

Inspired by a photograph that appeared in the tabloids last year, of Lily performing at GAY, London. It was her outfit that caught my eye if I am to be honest. That and the fact she was being touted as the Queen of British Pop Music...

The original artwork is for sale. If you are interested, please e.mail paul@morethanart.co.uk

Pulp Fiction - A Blokes Den!

What Bloke wouldn't want his own den at the bottom of the garden? This already has a pool table, fridge & dart board. With bar & Plasma TV soon to be fitted! Oh, and yes. It also sports a rather fine bit of mural work in black & white. John Travolta & Samuel L. Jackson from Pulp Fiction and in the far corner, Al Pacino from scarface. Was quite a fun mural to work on really and turned out pretty well. The client was very happy... Still waiting for my invite to the completed den though Rob...

NEW! The Nick says : T shirt design

test

It is with the greatest pleasure and laughter, that at last. After much demand, I can bring to you the first of my new 'un-official' T shirt designs. Called 'The Nick says' this T shirt celebrates the very genius that is Mr. Nick Field and the Curveballs show on Phoenix FM. Of which I am a regular listener on a wednesday evening.

The cartoon image of Nick on the shirt is based on a cartoon/sketch that I made of him while watching and listening to the show. Righto! Is one of Nicks catchphrases, as is 'Keep the madness in your soul.' which is how he always signs out. Thought it would be nice to include that on the back of the shirt?

I uploaded my design and created the shop/shirt at spreadshirt.net. Which, sadly did not allow me to place the image on a coloured shirt. Neither did it allow the use of the word 'phoenix' as it was copyright protected. I would of like to of added the Phoenix FM website and Curveballs to the design somewhere. But, found the creative software a little limiting. That's not to say that it can't be done? I just need to study it a little longer... Watch this blog and check out my shop for more great 'T' designs coming soon! Cheers, Paul x

Wedding Tealight Holders

Today completed an order for 108 tealight holders for a wedding. Marc and Abi already had a stencil design in mind and asked me to 'stencil' the frosted, red, glass tealight holders with the date of their wedding and their initials ALM. So that wedding guests were able to take away a small souvenir of the special day. Once I'd practiced a few, and had got into the rythmn of my mini production line. The rather 'daunting' task ran very smoothly and all 108 turned out very well.

So, if you require an original gift/decoration for your wedding/special occasion. These personalised tealight holders are quite an original idea...

The Fatlin and Firkin - Board work

Today was called to the Fatlin and Firkin in Hornchurch to do some new signage as part of their 'sparkle' day. This is when a pub closes for a mini 're-furb'. As the majority of font style on the new menus/p.o.s. I thought that the boards should echo that. Just for the record, today was probably one of the hottest days of 2009! I got very cooked on Hornchurch High Street...
